Isn't it funny how kids love to repeat things over and over again. I think that moms (and dad's - however Jim is still working on this) develop a talent to read a book or sing a song hundreds of times and still be as excited as you were the first time you did. This past week every time we get in the car to drive somewhere Jimmy will point out all of the blossoming trees. This is how the conversation always goes, never a variation:
Jimmy: I see popcorn blossoms!
Me: I see them to.
Jimmy: Does that remind you of a song?
Me: Yes it does.
Jimmy: Me too! Let's sing it!
And we will proceed to sing Popcorn Popping for about the hundredth time this week. I am having a hard time being annoyed though because it is so cute when they sing it or maybe it is just the fact that I am so happy that spring is finally here!

Ben put a whole bunch of toilet paper in the garbage and I told him that is a no, no. He said, "no it's a yes, yes!"
I tell Jimmy on a regular basis that needs to talk nicely. He yelled something across the room to me and I gave him the look that said I didn't like the tone of his voice and he said, "I was yelling nicely!"
Jimmy and I are listening to "Give Said the Little Stream" and Jimmy says "How does it talk?" I said "How does what talk?" He said, "The stream, it doesn't have a mouth, how can it talk?"

Funny Things Kids Say
We were at church and during the sacrament I was talking to Luke about Jesus. I told him that Jesus bled and died for us. Luke looked at me with a very concerned look and said, "Did Heavenly Father give Jesus a band-aid when he was bleeding?"
We were about to walk out the door so I told Luke to go potty. He came out of the bathroom saying, "I can't go! The batteries in my pee pee are dead!"
After Ben finished a big meal he said, "my tummy is so big and full I look like Grandpa now!" (sorry dad).
Ben pointed to a picture of the prophet and said, "That's President Monckley!"
We have a saying in our house. It's "you get what you get and you don't throw a fit!" But Ben has his own version of this. He says "you get what you WANT and you don't throw a fit!"
Jimmy said that he is allergic to babies. I asked him how he knew and he said that he gets sick when he smells them.
Ben asked me for another piece of halloween candy and I said, "Mommy is ready for the halloween candy to be gone" and Ben said, "Yea, gone in my mouth!"
We were driving past the gas station sign and Ben said, "I see a lowercase 5 on that sign."
I was talking to Jimmy about election day and asking him if his teacher voted and he said that she was "absent" that day. (I finally realized what he meant. She had just mailed in an absentee ballot.)

Omigosh, they are cute! Ok, so it has been forever since I have communicated with you. How is your little babe? Didn't he have ear problems or something? You are such a cute Mom. I wish I was more patient!!!
I love singing little kids songs, Ethan keeps wanting to watch he thinks we are on Skype :)
Grandma and Grandpa love watching you sing!! It makes us smile. We have even downloaded the video to our hard drive so that we can watch it any time we choose!
